Pete Rose, Major League Baseball’s all-time hit leader, has passed away on September 30, 2024, at the age of 83. He died at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada, but the cause of death has not yet been publicly disclosed.
Rose, known as “Charlie Hustle,” was a legendary player, especially for his time with the Cincinnati Reds, where he won two World Series titles. He also played for the Philadelphia Phillies, adding another championship to his resume.
Over his 24-year career, Rose accumulated 4,256 hits, a record that still stands today. He was known for his aggressive playing style and versatility, playing various positions, including outfield, first base, and third base.

With his first wife, Karolyn Englehardt, whom he married in 1964 and divorced in 1980, he had two children: Fawn and Pete Rose Jr. Fawn, the eldest, pursued a corporate career and is currently a senior executive at Omeros Corporation. Pete Rose Jr. followed in his father’s footsteps, playing professional baseball and later becoming a coach and manager.
Pete’s second marriage was to Carol J. Woliung in 1984. They had two children, Tyler and Cara. Tyler is currently working in sports memorabilia in Las Vegas, while Cara (also known as Chea Courtney) was a former actress. He also has another daughter, Morgan Erin Rubio, who came into the public eye due to a paternity suit and has struggled with addiction in the past.
Until his death, Pete Rose was engaged to Kiana Kim, a former Playboy model, and she has two children from a previous relationship. Kim actively spoke up for Pete to be inducted into the MLB’S hall of fame, Cooperstown.
